Will I have to change my primary e-mail address?

No. You can forward your primary email address to your new Vroosh Mail address e.g. username@Vroosh.com. Vroosh Mail filters the email on our server and then sends the verified email to your inbox. Alternatively you can just start using your new Vroosh Mail address as your primary email address and notify friends and associates of the change. You can pre-authorize them so they have no need to receive a verification email. The only exception is if you use Hotmail or a Yahoo non-premium account, because they do not allow forwarding.

What if my ISP does not allow me to forward my e-mail? Can I still use Vroosh Mail?

Yes. Most ISPs give the option to allow you to forward your email. If you are unable to forward your email to Vroosh Mail, then you will not be able to use your primary email address. However, you will be able to use your Vroosh Mail email address. For example, yourname@Vroosh.com.

Is there an email client that I will need to use?

All POP3 email clients will work with Vroosh Mail. For example, Outlook Office, Outlook Express, Eudora, Netscape, and IncrediMail.

How do I configure my email client to work with Vroosh Mail?

It is quite simple. Click on the 'Steps' link for instructions. If you have questions about this, please contact us and we will assist you.

What happens if I exceed my storage limit?

Vroosh Mail will attempt to notify you at the email address you have listed in your Profile, before this happens. Then you can simply login to your account and pick up your mail and or delete the email currently sitting in your Pending Emails area. If you allow your account storage to remain over your allowed limit, new email will be bounced with a mailbox full error. Most mailservers will try to resend the email to you daily for five days. If your storage has been lowered during that time, the email will accepted to your mailbox.

Can I upgrade my account for more storage capacity?

Yes! Click on the "Upgrade your account" button in your member area and we will assist you.

Can I cancel my account at any time?

Absolutely. Customers utilizing the extra capacity paid accounts will have their accounts closed at the end of the current paid up billing period. Free accounts can be cancelled anytime, just notify us with the contact form.

If I sign up for Vroosh Mail, will any of my personal details be sold or given away?

Absolutely Not. Your personal details will never be given away or sold!

Can I do muliple blocking at once?

Yes. Click on block all in the Pending emails area and all emails will be deleted and a corresponding block will be placed in your Email List. This is a Global block so it will affect all email sitting in the Pending Emails area.

Can I disable my service when I go on vacation ?

All you will need to do is configure your email client back to its original state before you signed up. Keep in mind that if you do this, your email will not be filtered during this time. When you return, simply change the settings in your email client to reflect your Vroosh Mail account. However you can reach your Vroosh Mailbox anywhere in the world with one of the free online mailservices that support POP accounts.

Why is there email in my Pending Emails area?

Any email found in your Pending Emails area is email that has not yet been verified. This means the sender did not click the verification link so more than likely, it is spam. You can block this mail, which deletes it or accept it. If you block the email, the email address is added to your Email list as "blocked" and the spammer can never send you email again. Every email that you have blocked will be bounced back to the sender..

How do I block all email names from a particular address?

You can block all email names at once from a single domain name by going to your Filter List, chose "block" add in just the domain name e.g.. bad.com in the area "email containing the phrase" then pick in the "from". Click add the rule. Be careful if you add a domain name like "hotmail.com" nobody with a hotmail account can reach you unless you add their specific address in your Email List as an "accept". That is because rules in your Email List override rules in your Filter List. However this is still a good way to block a spammer who keeps changing his name but utilizes the same domain name. e.g.. bill@bad.com, james@bad.com etc.

What happens when an email is blocked?

When an email is blocked by our mail servers, the email is bounced back to the sender with a 550 error specifying that you do not have an active mailbox at the address they tried to reach. Spammers regularly remove all emails from their database that receive 550 errors.

How do I delete an email?

When you "Block" an email in the Pending Emails area it is deleted and the block is moved to your Emails List for that exact address, so you will not receive email from this sender again.

What email is included in my storage limit?

Your mail storage used is the combined total of the mail stored in your outbox which has already been filtered, but you have not yet picked up and any mail stored in your Pending Emails area. To reduce the amount of storage space that you are currently using, simply delete or accept some (or all) of the email stored in the Pending Emails Area and pick up your mail regularly.

Do I need to contact Vroosh Mail if I need to change my account information?

You can change all your information at any time via the member's area except your password. To change your password you need to contact customer service for your security.
