Setup

There are only 3 simple steps to setup Vroosh Mail and get a spam free mailbox!

Step 1

Create your Vroosh Mail account by clicking on the Join Now link and entering your information. Make a copy of your information, you will need it for step 2.

Step 2

On your local personal or business computer, start the email program that you generally pick up your mail with. It could be Netscape Mail, Outlook Express or others. Open the settings area of the program as you are going to add a new account to pick up your filtered mail at Vroosh.

As a guide, write down the current settings from one of your existing mail accounts in your email program.

Now add a new account in your email program with settings as listed below:

Account Name: Your Vroosh Mail Username with _mail added to it as  username_mail
If your username is robert, your account name is robert_mail@vroosh.com

Account Password: Your Vroosh Mail password
Incoming Mail POP3: mail.vroosh.com

Outgoing Mail SMTP: Your ISP's current outgoing mail server
Get this information from one of your existing mail accounts.

Step 3

You may now receive email at your Vroosh email address, which is your username@Vroosh.com An example would be robert@vroosh.com. You will continue to pick up your mail with your regular email program from your computer as before, using the new account you just created.

If you prefer to continue using an pre-existing email address, you may do that by forwarding your old email address to your new Vroosh Mail email address. An example is , robert@telus.com is forwarded to robert@Vroosh.com, presuming your Vroosh Mail username is robert. Most ISP's have control panels that you can use to forward your email. If not, you will need to contact your ISP to do this for you.
